Our 24/7 staff of licensed Respiratory Therapists nurture the breath of life and gradually wean patients from ventilator dependency. We take pride in our high success rate in weaning patients off their ventilators, liberating them to breathe on their own once again; our documented track record stands at 50%!

Our highly skilled interdisciplinary team of caregivers – which includes top Pulmonary Physicians, licensed Respiratory Therapists, Wound Care Specialists and Rehabilitation Experts – aims to restore maximum function and independence to pulmonary compromised patients, while providing them and their families with an unsurpassed level of support.

To ensure the best outcome for each patient, pulmonary rounds are done by our own Pulmonologists on a regular basis and an individualized weaning program is developed following a hands-on assessment and close observation. Our goal is to assure that every patient breathes on his own again – that’s why our staff maintains a 24/7 dedicated focus on weaning our patients as quickly and safely as possible.

In addition to our Respiratory Pavilion – once patients are successfully weaned and no longer require a ventilator – they are transferred to our dedicated Step-Down Unit.
